ZOJA: Concerto for Harp in Belgrade Youth Center

Multikultivator in cooperation with the Belgrade Youth Center represents a new initiative to support young musical talent “ZOJA: Concerto for Harp.” The concert will be held in the big hall of the Youth Center on Thursday 27 April 2017 at 20 am.
Zoja Djordjevic very early expressed an interest and love for music, and for the fourth year and has chosen instrument – the harp that plays since he was nine. As a student of the music school “Stanković” in the class of Professor Ivan Pejoska participated in numerous competitions at national and international level in Serbia and abroad where she was awarded as a soloist and as a member of a chamber ensemble. She has performed in concert harp classes and concerts on the occasion of the school. In June 2016, Zoya took part in a promotional concert “Harp Festival” in Knez Mihailova Street in Belgrade.
Zoya enjoys the support of many senior colleagues, both students and professionals from Serbia and abroad. At the concert in the great hall of the Belgrade Youth join her Miloš Branisavljević (vibraphone), Rastko Obradovic (saxophone), Angela Despotović (vocals) and friend from class, harpist Teodora Vujosevic.
A varied program will display a wealth of expressions and nuances Zojinog musical character. In addition to the compositions and arrangements for solo harp, the concert we will have three duets. In duo in Berkeley alumni – percussions and composer Milos Branisavljević (vibrafon), will perform the composition Zoja Metamorphosis II, Philip Glass (M. arrangement Branisavljević). Multiverziteta a scholar, a graduate student in the jazz department of the Music Academy in Oslo, Rastko Obradovic (saxophone) will perform with Zoja 13, paragraph Sen-Sansovog “Carnival of Animals” – Swan (Le Cygne) in the arrangement for saxophone and harp. Angels Despotovic, accompanied by the harp sing pop and jazz standard “Nature Boy” – written and recorded for the first time exactly 70 years ago. In addition to the program for the concert and the international competition “Konjović” Zoya currently preparing material for his first foray into the studio.
ZOJA Program: Concerto for Harp organized within live crowdfunding initiative to support young musicians United Musicians (Musicians United) through which people who share a passion for music and the valuable support young musical talents to live their dreams. To continue further musical training in accordance with their talent and work, Oji is essential to have your own instrument.
Complete income generated through donations, sponsorships and ticket sales for this concert is intended for the purchase of a concert harp for Oyu.
